About Sarah
I'm a CPA and Virtual CFO, and I spent years honing my business and accounting skills in the Big Four and at a large public company. Once I realized how much more fulfilling it is to work with small business owners than in the corporate world, I founded Young + Co!
My mission is to help driven entrepreneurs with their finances, so that their money is the rocket fuel that helps them achieve their goals, not a roadblock. I want to help you level up your business so you can find financial peace and generate freedom and wealth without burning yourself out.
I believe that there's way more to your finances than your tax return. I'll help you think about your finances holistically in order to maximize your overall profits, so you can create more peace and stability in your life, build your wealth, and leave a legacy.
And I'm an entrepreneur just like you - I've gone through growing pains, good times, and frustrating times, and I understand what it's like to be on this roller coaster of business ownership.
When I'm not talking about financial strategy with clients, you can find me hanging out with my three-year-old son and husband of 7+ years, and our two cats! You'd be hard-pressed to find me not in the middle of reading at least two books, and I always have too many drink containers sitting around. I'm currently working on taking better care of my own well-being (hello, entrepreneur life). My life goals include taking yoga teacher training one day just for fun, having a lake house with a boat, and starting a fund to invest in women-owned businesses. And fun fact - I taught high school math for two years!

I founded Young + Co in 2018 after a not-so-great personal tax experience. I thought to myself: "I could do this better!"
Once I started working with business owners, I realized how hard it is to find someone to help you connect the dots between your bookkeeping, taxes, and financial strategy. To help you understand how your business is doing now and think through how to improve in the future.
So that's exactly what we do at Young + Co.
We don't offer the traditional services you'll find at most CPA firms because, for our clients, they aren't quite enough. What you'll find instead are services and programs to help you get visibility into your finances now, clarity on your financial goals and plans, and to help you keep more of what you earn.
When you hire our team, you can expect a more personalized, premium experience because we work with fewer clients. We'll be your partner for all things financial, will really get to know your business, and will help you keep an eye on your finances and help you stay out of trouble too.
